Faithfulness: The Cheat Code to Financial Wellness

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever -Hebrews 13:8

How long are you willing to do the same thing with minimal results toward a massive goal?

You can think back on how you have done with setting goals in the past to honestly answer that question.

It is easy to set the goal but VERY hard to do the steps to reach the goal.

As a single mom, you juggle many tasks out of necessity, and it can be hard to choose to add more to your plate when it is already full.

With that in mind, think about how different your days would look if you sacrificed comfort, time, and resources for a season to accomplish a goal that could change your family forever?

The beauty of the cross gives us an example of sacrifice for the advancement of a greater narrative. As believers, we rest in the act of the triune God who chose to come to Earth as fully God and man and live a life worthy to be given over to a holy God and cover our sins for eternity.

If God can do that for you, you don’t have to run away from the dreams you have for your family.

Don’t be afraid to make practical moves toward the vision you have been given for your life.

The vision is not a supernatural joke God taunts you with to make you miserable.

You have the vision, ideas, and motive to change the trajectory of your family because you are supposed to make a difference.

Where should you begin?

Journaling can be a great starting point to nail down what it is you want to commit to doing for the long haul to see results.

Write about how passionate you are about achieving your goals and how hard it is to find your rhythm toward progress.

Not only will you be figuring out what you need to do, but you will also have a written testimony of how you fought to do your best with what God has given you.

Here is a Faith Goals tracker that can get you started on thinking about what you would like to do toward your vision.

The points you highlight here can be meaningful prompts for journaling during your quiet time.

As you embrace the fact that faithfulness over a long period of time is essential, you will be less distracted by the time it takes and fully participate in the story that’s unfolding as you persevere.
